African Diaspora

This section covers collections relating to the African Diaspora.  Some of the items have also been included under the Caribbean as well.  There are a number of different collections of Ephemera as well as a powerful collection of mostly European sheet music featuring black characters on the cover.  Civil rights and racism is a category on its own.  The final section, entitled Black Heroes and Sidekicks, provides an assorted collection of European comic books featuring a black hero, superhero or sidekick
