One shows blacks and whites inspecting a bridge at Burghersdorp. Another is a turn-of-the-century image of a women on horse-drawn tram of sorts, being pulled by a local. Another is from 1926, with an interesting annotation on reverse of an early lorry transporting goods and being repaired “the jacks slipped when there were 5 kaffirs underneath”.
