A collection of 1451 military letters/postcards from Japanese soldiers while stationed in China. 365 are from Manchukuo, 871 from Southern China and 215 likely from Manchukuo but I cannot say. I deal a lot with POW letters, which are generally short in content, but this collection is quite substantial in terms of the extent of the content of each letter. Some of the postcards show military themes on the front, while others pastoral scenes. Prices for Japanese WW2 letters sent to families back home have become quite scarce and prices have increased dramatically. I am offering this collection at roughly the price I paid over ten years.
