147 colonial postcards of Casablanca. Good architectural interest. Numerous cards issued on the eve of Independence. The city's popularity increased with the legendary Hollywood film Casablanca in 1942 , and it was accepted as the modern architectural capital of the period in international evaluations. The city owes this fame to the architectural changes it experienced in the 20th century. Because at that time, the modern architectural theories learned by architects who graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts ( fine arts academy ) in Paris were applied here.
