By Faik Sabri [Duran], printed in London 1928, Corc Filip ve Mahdumu Limited Matbaası, 33 pages. This is one of the last atlases published in Ottoman script. It is notable that this atlas was ordered by the publisher to be printed in London. Turkey was extremely poor in 1928, with no foreign exchange earnings, beyond the export of figs and tobacco. Despite this, what little fx there was, Ataturk was determined to provide quality education. BM
