WW2 passbook belonging to Suzuki Haji. It has entries from 1942 to 1945. I found the two photos and Superior Private rank collar tabs in the back pocket of the book. The entries show a soldier from Ibaraki who achieved the rank of Superior Private. He entered the 67th Platoon on January 10, 1942 and entered Manchuria 853 Platoon Hino Unit later the same year. 3 pages of war history entries; other pages have a few entries as well. The last entry shows he was discharged on January 6, 1945. Included is the outer case for the passbook as well. M

2 soldier passbooks. One is from 1902 and the other from 1943-5. One shows a soldier from Ibaraki who was attached to the 1st Brigade, 5th Company, 3rd Infantry Regiment. His passbook has few entries, with his military service appearing to have been limited to one year, 1902. He has no rank listed, only '6-Week Service Soldier.' The second has entries from 1943 to 1945. This shows a soldier from Ibaraki who achieved the rank of Superior Private. Belonging to Ube Brigade District? 36th Platoon? Interesting entries show that he achieved a rank promotion after the war had ended (September 7, 1945) and a Good Conduct Award on that same day. Also, a small pouch with Army star. M
