Collection of correspondence to/from an Italian POW, interred at Camp #4 in Palestine, trying unsuccessfully to  seek work in Palestine during 1944-1945.  His application to work for the United Nations in August 1944 was rejected as Italy was not a member of the UN. Documents in both hebrew and arabic, from the Palestine Police, confidential document from the Defence Security Office, Jerusalem Post Office, Spanish Consulate in Jerusalem, Iraq Petroleum Company in Haifa, Amerian Consulate in Jerusalem, Regia Marina, the Apostolic Delegation for Egypt and Palestine at Cairo, the UN Relief and Rehabilitation Administration at Cairo, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries at Jerusalem. 13 documents in all.
